This is a different edit and crop of an older photo (I believe 2012) that I am posting.
There was a time when, for a variety of reasons, I was far more active on dA than I am today. My hope is to one day slay the dragon(s) that have held me back and stolen this last year from me. I know, at 37, that time is short. I'm not the silly rebel girl I once was, but there is a new something ... a new power, perhaps, that will rise when everything passes. My time here in the Appalachians is coming to an end. We shall go coastal soon ... maybe New Orleans, maybe Savannah ... but the time is coming to leave these mountains, to shed what has been and start anew.
